I’m not sure if I can count all of the memories from Studio C, but I can try!  To me, the studio is much more than a building where I was taught new tap moves once or twice a week. I learned so much more than that.  From Studio C, I met some of my best friends, received life-changing advice, and even learned a few dances here and there.  Committing to dance at Studio C is so much more than signing up for dance lessons. You are actually signing up for lessons in confidence, grace, and poise.  I learned self-discipline and how to approach a multitude of difficult tasks. I was able to develop a thought process that didn’t involve stress but always involved creativity. By learning those lessons early, I achieved success that I never could have imagined.

My commitment gave me the confidence to be involved in many extra-curricular activities, and I have Studio C to thank for that. In high school, I was a UCA four-Time All-American Mascot, and was awarded their “Most Spirit Award” and “Camp Champ”.  That isn’t easy being encased in a lion costume!  I was honored to be a Girl’s State Representative,

I was accepted into the school of music at University of North Texas and am a member of an auditioned ensemble, part of UNT’s Choral Program.  I am an appointed officer and worship leader of the Christian Sorority, Sigma Phi Lambda, and a Dean’s List recipient.  I am the university’s mascot, Scrappy, and was awarded 1st Place Mascot at the NCA National Championships.  I am also a mascot Coach for the National Cheer Association.  I recently received my Bachelor's degree from UNT and am now working on my Masters.

Thank you, Studio C. I truly would not be the person I am today without you pushing me every time I walked through your doors.
