Michelle has studied dance for over forty-eight years from master teachers such as Fayard and Harold Nicholas of "The Nicholas Brothers", Donald O'Connor from "Singin' in the Rain", Robert Reed of "Riverdance", Joel Ruminer, and Al Gilbert, and she has performed onstage with the late Gregory Hines.  She has over thirty years teaching experience and just finished her 23rd year as director of STUDIO C. Former students have been selected to perform in the annual Capital One Bowl, London’s New Year Parade, and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.  Others have joined the ranks of the Tyler Junior College Apache Belles, and most recently, the NCA Collegiate National Champion Mascot from the University of North Texas.

She is a recipient of the Capezio Outstanding Tap Choreography Award, and her students have won many titles in SHOWBIZ Regional and National Dance Competitions including highest score in the tap category and consistently ranking in the Top Ten performances in their age groups.  Most importantly, dancers that stick with her program excel in more than stage performance.  They are successful students, athletes, and above all . . . excellent humans.

Looking forward to year 23 at STUDIO C, her founding principle still remains.  Never settle for less than your best.  #goodgirlsalwayswin
