My mom walked me in to Studio C when I was three years old, and I had no idea that in my very first dance class I would meet my best friends. Friends that I will have for the rest of my life. I have performed as everything from Cruella Deville to the "yellow polka-dot-bikini girl" and have even been a glow-in-the-dark tapping skeleton popping out from behind a glittered tombstone. I also took lyrical and pointe at The Dance Studio in Onalaska, so until March of 2020 I have been in a dance studio twice a week for the past fifteen years. During that time, I learned to juggle lots of different activities at one time without panicking, and to put a smile on my face . . . even when my heart felt otherwise.
In high school, I was a varsity cheerleader where I served as captain and was a member of Student Council, National Honor Society, and the American Sign Language Club.
I graduated in the Top 10% of my class and live in College Station where I am pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Texas A&M University.
Although my time at Studio C was cut short this year, I am thankful for the decision my mom made when she introduced me to taking dance. I have friends and memories that will last a lifetime.
